Two underdog rival dance teams, south Asian in origin but brought up in London, relentlessly fight against each other to be declared the ultimate street dancing ensemble only to realize their real rivals are the Britishers ( Bollywood's perennial antagonist)
And so, on the Republic day weekend, here is a film that pits Indian and Pakistani against each other, only to realise that their strength lies in unity, against White supremacy (no Brownie points for guessing who wins). There are almost 10-11 songs in the film and most of them thankfully are well choreographed and make an impact.
On the whole Street Dancer 3D is a terrific combination of rich visuals, amazing choreography and strong emotions.

Dance is my passion and any movie related to that it makes me jump to watch it right away. Remo D'Souza has taken a notch higher in terms of production value where he made his favourite stars to travel to London to shoot this movie. Street Dancer 3 is third movie in ABCD franchise which talks about a story of India Vs Pakistan dance groups who joins their hand together for a cause. To add value to the story, Remo has added illegal immigrants angle into the story which works to an extent barring I don't get into the intricacies of legality. A movie which boasts to be watched on 3D indeed is visual treat but what really as ardent dance lover, I had great expectations in terms of dance and it falls there. To start with the songs from first to third part is showing a downward trend and here, there are four songs which is great but again out of three three are remix version. The Muqabla song is indeed highlight of the movie followed by Garmi, Bezubaan and Lagdi Lahore Di. My heart sinks about the fact this movie didn't give me any song which I will remember forever. The choreography which should have been the USP of the movie and Remo, Kruti Mahesh, Rahul and I believe few more who are best dancers have created a chaos in total, in the name of dance. All the songs just have stunts and jumps. In order to release in multiple languages and earn loads of money, makers tried to use music pieces to show dancing in the movie so that they needn't have to worry about to dubbing the songs and this strategy has fallen flat. Comedy here used is just doesn't fit into the narrative or even a giggle. Varun Dhawan with his 6 packs is handsome hunk who is brilliant in his role and Shraddha Kapoor also gives a great support as leading lady of the movie. PrabhuDeva surprisingly has limited role in this movie. Nora Fatehi with her limited screen time but makes her presence felt with her beauty and dancing skill. Punit Pathak whom I believe is a great dancer and good actor is wasted totally and the favouritism is quite evident when Dharmesh and Raghav gets more prominent role and as actor they are big let down. Aparshakti Khurrana is sidekick. This movie lacked the presence of Lauren Gottlieb who is one hell of a dancer even though her acting is something I am not fan of. Loads of money and great dancers with limited story (I wasn't expecting that anyway) Remo has disappointed me. Watch only for the love of dance and amazing visual appeal else I guess you have other movies lined up for you. #pranurevie

#StreetDancer Movie is fun and absolutely fabulous - for dance lovers and followers of Dance Plus (Remo and team). This third installment of the ABCD movies is the best of the lot in terms of story line, acting, screenplay and direction. The entire team including director #RemoDSouza is more confident in their performances. The dancing is totally another level of perfection and icing on the cake are Prabhu Deva’s dance sequences I was pretty disappointed with Varun and Shraddha's addition in ABCD 2 as it took away from the core of the dance theme and Remo tried to bring in star power. However, I have to really applaud #VarunDhawan and #ShraddhaKapoor for doing a much better job in this one. Each set is choreographed better than the other and post interval it i practically one dance sequence after the other. For me that was thrilling but if you can't sit through back to back dancing, then this movie isn't for you. I loved watching Sushi, Vartika, 13point13, Popping Ticko who are the among the new additions to the crew. #Dharmesh and #Raghav were fun as usual. #PuneetPathak 's performances have always been good and he impresses this time too. The performances in the semi finals and finals of the Dance Competition in the movie were edge of the seat and gave me an emotional high !

The only time the film comes alive is when Prabhudeva breaks into an impromptu dance on his most iconic song, Muqabla. In its 150 minutes running time, these are the only two minutes that excite and exhilarate. Which brings a genuine question - Why are filmmakers so severely obsessed with stuffing their films with gratuitous melodrama and messaging when they already have enough material on display? In one scene, Dhawan asks his mother, "Why do Indians drag emotions into everything?" What an irony! Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor give their best but cannot make Street Dancer 3D the dance film Bollywood can be proud of. An unexciting dance drama that should have only focused on dance

Street Dancer 3D couldn't be more predictable with its plot and messaging (this would be a good time to remind everyone that the director Remo D'Souza's last film was Race 3); but in these politically turbulent times, it's heartening to see a film that puts peace and harmony above xenophobia. But sadly, Street Dancer 3D has nothing new to offer — even the choreography and the dance sequences seem familiar if you've seen Indian reality shows. It's a breezy film that goes by rather quickly, but don't expect any nuance or depth in Street Dancer 3D.Street Dancer 3D has its heart in the right place, one only wishes the music and the choreography had something new to offer. The 3D and some semi-cool visual effects only slightly distract you from a wafer-thin plot that is constantly on the verge of breaking.More dance, less gyaan would have made this Varun Dhawan, Shraddha Kapoor film better

This movie is about dance but there is also a little story which impressed me a little. But all the actors could act better. Specially the first half was little bit boring but in the second half i enjoyed it totally. The rivalry & to dance for those non-residence people was good. Overall its a good movie (from stroy side) but As a movie its an average one & could do better.

Arch rivals Inayat (Shraddha Kapoor) and Sahej (Varun Dhawan) are the captains of two powerhouse dance teams – Rule Breakers and Street Dancers, respectively. In order to prove their supremacy over one another, both the gangs lock horns in a top-notch dance competition. But, their individual outlook towards life undergoes a drastic change as they tread along. ‘Street Dancer 3D’ does have a strong message to send across to its audience – that of love in the face of adversity, compassion towards those we know and those we don’t, and stresses upon the importance of friendship over personal gains – but fails to stitch it together with an organised cinematic fabric. If not for the story, watch it for the love of dance. And, get ready to groove and move!

The stars of ABCD: Any Body Can Dance and/or its sequel - Salman Yusuff Khan, Dharmesh Yelande, Punit Pathak, Raghav Juyal and, of course, Prabhudeva - are back to peddle their wares. They do their jobs in all earnestness. It isn't their fault that the film they are in does not let their combined efforts add up anything worth sitting up and noticing. The thin plot has two principal female characters. Neither is allowed much agency in the matter of where they want their lives to go. Shraddha Kapoor, the lead, has more footage than Nora Fatehi, who is trapped in a role that is barely delineated. Yet, the latter strikes it far richer. Varun Dhawan is all pumped-up, but style outweighs substance in an uneven performance.Street Dancer 3D, two and a half hours of agony, is strictly for dance junkies. Sway out of its way if you don't belong to that category.

Street Dancer is a time pass fare with loads of dance, music and visual effects to keep the interest going. The film keeps one hooked from start to finish despite almost being 2.5 hours long, though one wishes it was a bit shorter and a song or two were done away with. But out of 10 songs in the film, most of them create an impact and look great on screen. The 3D adds a lot to the film, especially in the introduction sequence. A few dramatic and confrontational sequences are too good, especially in the second half. Talking of performances, Varun Dhawan is in top form. He is apt for such roles and looks dashing. Shraddha Kapoor too gives her best and her entry scene is too awesome. The dance of both of them is great and one wishes their chemistry was explored a bit more. Nora Fatehi however has the best entry scene in the film. She manages to make her presence felt despite limited screen time. Prabhudheva is subtle initially but gets better. The 'Muqabla' track is the best part of the film. Aparshakti Khurana, Punit J Pathak, Salman Yusuff Khan, Dharmesh Yelonde, Raghav Juyal, Murli Sharma and Zarina Wahab also do well. All in all, Street Dancer makes for a nice one time watch and if you see it in cinemas, don't miss it in 3D!

I think this movie is so underrated.... It's a fantastic movie.... Superb dance moves.... and a great message inspiring people to help others.... I have read many reviews saying that this movie doesn't have a story and it seems only like a dance reality show.... but I feel everytime it is not necessary to judge a movie by its script.... we should also see the fun and effort of dance done in this movie... I would really like to thank Remo Sir for giving DANCE + contestants an opportunity to prove themselves on big screen....

Thank you so much Remo sir and the whole team for blessing us dancers with such a beautiful movie and inspiring us. We are always there by your side to support all of your movies. Sahej (Dhawan) and Inayat (Kapoor) are professional dancers from India and Pakistan, respectively, who em-bark on a game of one-upmanship in the streets of London. They aspire to beat each other in dance. The warring groups start with minor arguments and proceed to one of the biggest dance challenges in the world where they join forces for a larger cause. While 'Street Dancer 3D' is a dance entertainer, director Remo D’Souza follows the journey of the performers on stage and in life. While the plot is predictable, the film is a colourful collage of different dance forms like contemporary, jazz, krump, afro, locking and popping, animation tutting, urban and slow-mo. D’Souza also introduces some dance pros from around the world and uses VFX to his advantage to keep things visually exciting for the audience.

Street Dancer 3D, starring Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead roles, is one big fat dance performance at a huge reality show, which has a story thrown in somewhere there. The film also stars some of the biggest names of Indian dance scene like Puneet Pathak, Dharmesh Yelande and Raghav Juyal, among others .So the story, which is credited to the director and choreographer of the film, revolves around two dance groups in London. One group, comprising NRIs, is led by Sahej (Varun Dhawan) and the other with Pakistani teammates is headed by Inayat (Shraddha Kapoor). Both the groups are always at loggerheads and never miss a chance to humiliate each other at the dance battles. If there are India and Pakistan, then there are British as well, and yes some cricket.

Love the movie definitely worth watching. It has lots of dance with a story of lives of people on the streets immigrants from Pakistan and Indian living on the street who want to go back home but aren’t able to afford to go back they came to England thinking they would be able to live a good life and help their families back home but instead they end up living on the road with no job and no money. They show india and Pakistan coming together to help each other. I won’t go in dept and give out the whole story because it’s worth going to watch for yourselves l. I felt It has its emotions and good moments I enjoyed the movie throughout. I felt it which is the main thing. Makes you think about the thousands of people living in the streets and how they struggle. Definitely worth paying to watch it in a big screen

Remo D'souza has set a benchmark now, first ABCD followed by ABCD 2 and now the new movie based out of dance, drama and story - STREET DANCER 3D. Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor duo is back and this time they are opposite of each other in the movie and later on they come together. Nora Fatehi is the eye catcher in the movie! Prabhudeva is truely a DANCING SUPERSTAR of the nation. All together good storyline with great work by all artists including dharmesh, salman yusuf khan and fellow members.

Same old cliché story of ind-pak relationship with the dance backdrop. Varun dhawan is a brilliant actor but I don't know why he chooses these kinda scripts. Remember his acting in movies like Sui dhaga, badlapur, October? I want to watch Varun in those kinda movies rather than watching him in these kinda retard movies. Only thing that was decent in this movie was cinematography - looks rich and beautiful. Apart from that I don't think there's any other thing that impressed me. Highly dissatisfied!

I would recommend watching this movie! It was amazing - the message behind it was beautiful and it was more than just a regular dance movie! The acting was amazing as usual by Varun and Shraddha and I don’t think the amazing actors should be blamed for the movie as I have seen. There was some mistakes I picked on where one of the girls was calling Nora her actual name Nora rather than Mia which is what is her name in the movie apparently. I saw the reviews myself and wasn’t going to go but honestly I recommenced watching it. I’m no dancer so didn’t pick on anything but there wasn’t any mistakes that would be so serious and I’m not being funny their actors their humans yes these mistakes should have been looked over but rather than being narrow minded look at the bigger picture and watch the movie and you will see what I mean and see that it has to be one of the best movies made in a while and yeah it was a long dance movie but it is called street dancer what did you expect? && The fact they had a message behind it shows more depth and I think it was amazing and loved it! Would definitely watch it again and can’t wait to buy a copy! I would definitely recommend it and watch it for yourself! Loved it!!!!

STREET DANCER 3D Dance Grandeur but flat dead storyline 2 star at most! This movie is like 3 hours of dance reality show in the cinemas. No doubt Remo Dsouza aces choreography and that's visible in the grand dance and its visually treating sets. But what fails big time is the story line, it falls flat and is dead predictable which makes it difficult for you to sustain with patience throughout the movie because you know whats gonna happen so all you are left at disposal is "uchal kud". Sets are grand and colorful, dance sequences are amazing, performances are upto the mark. Storyline, direction, dialogues and music are a big let down. Overall not a satisfying movie to be watched in the cinemas. THINGS TO LOOK OUT FOR >Grand Dance sets full or life and color. >amazing dance sequences choreographed with excellence >Performances by the ensemble cast is upto the mark though nothing standing out each one has done their role as much required >Few Scenes generate emotion and those are very rare and few scenes where you feel it . NEGATIVES >Poor direction the films fails to go in a flow of a storyline ,much concentration just goes on dance overshadowing the core story >Editing is very poor - the film is too long and exhausting to sustain it through >Dialouges are not at all punching or powerful >Story Line is flat predictable from the very begenning you know whats gonna happen so it makes it boring to watch the whole film >3D was not at all necessary and there was not a single scene that stood out in 3D FINAL VERDICT A Film that has nothing apart from dance. All the other departments score a big Zero .

Street Dancer 3D impresses in its many dance numbers, in reckless breakdance steps and in prodigious choreographies that challenge the possibilities of human anatomy. Remo D'Souza knows where to put the camera so that each dance step is emphatic, powerful, but he is incompetent when it comes to bashing a story. Remo D'Souza is one of the promising and talented filmmakers in Bollywood, as he has a direct relationship with dance, which ultimately helped him excel as a filmmaker.

Street Dancer 3D is a dance movie every inch. Whether or not you are a fan, you will surely be enchanted. What the actors perform on screen is perfect, fresh and literally brilliant. Almost the entire 144 minutes are dancing, dancing and dancing. It's not a rule that the final number is the best, but here it succeeds. The film has all the trappings of a commercial Bollywood potboiler. The dance scenes are even more spectacular, artistic and expansive, cinematography even more musical, the entire film even more pop, more colourful and more fun.

The combo of Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor is very poor. I almost forgot last time when she acted well in a movie. Both Varun & Shraddha are awful dancers and don't deserve a place in the center. All the talented dancers like Puneet Pathak, Dharmesh, Sushant (Pujari & Khatri), Salman etc. didn't impress you with their dance because they all are trying too hard to act. Varun is so bad at acting that even Puneet Pathak looks better than him on screen. Nora & Vartika Jha are good but they are there for little time.

**** Dance till death **** Movie is packed with dance sequences out of this world. World's best dance groups involvement in this movie is truly awesome. Songs are beautifully shot with great choreography. Prabhudeva muqabla act brought the house down. I must say that semifinal act of bejuban fir se was nostalgic moment which summed up the ABCD journey with Street dancer 3. Best was reserved for the finale where Mile sur mera tumhara with our Indian dancers rocking the floor big time. Critics will pan out that there is no story but Idiot's don't digest the fact that it's purely a dance movie so dance is where it's heart lies. Must watch !

Nice message by The Dance Group, Don't just fight within each other but fight for the right thing at the right place for the right people (who are really in need of you).. Hats off to the direction, the music and the global message.. Loved each bit of the movie.. Shraddha, Varun, Prabhu ji, Nora and other dance crew really gave some good dancing moves.. I loved it

Today I watched the movie and i must admit - it is a full entertainer with some amazing dance moves. The message in the movie was so beautiful and pure love. And I don't think there would have been any other better release date for the film. I honestly liked the character of varun dhawan's sahej. Everything was so good - the comedy, the dance, the emotions..he completely nailed the role and I personally feel he was the best part of the entire movie. Shradhha kapoor and nora fatehi looked so good in the movie and prabhudeva is literally the god of the dancing, I was in shock when I saw the full muqabla song no one can beat him. Finally these guys made the audience whistle with those moves.

There are many questions you ask yourself when you leave the hall, some of the questions are "where is the plot?" "Why are people randomly dancing?" "Why did I waste my money on this trash?" Etc. There is no properly constructed plot, of course the dance moves of the leads were fine but it was surely overdosed. Prabhudeva is okay in his role. I can't judge or explain this movie any further cause that's going to give me a headache just as the movie did. BOTTOMLINE- you can thoroughly skip this garbage.
